Antonio Pontiero (Stackright & Newspace): Appointed Group MD in November 2025 to lead a newly unified modular manufacturing platform. He will oversee integrated operations to scale production for national infrastructure

Karl Goose (Keltbray): Became Group CEO in December 2025, succeeding Vince Corrigan. The former Ferrovial executive is focused on expanding Keltbray’s footprint in the nuclear and rail sectors.

Steve Abbott (Woodford): Transitioned from CEO to Board Advisor/NED in December 2025. After 13 years with the firm, he now provides strategic oversight and mentorship centered on digital MMC solutions.

Adam Worrall (Willmott Dixon Interiors): Promoted to MD in January 2026 after 25 years with the group. He is now responsible for the firm’s national fit-out and refurbishment growth strategy.

Andy Temple (WSP): Promoted to Executive Managing Director of Property & Buildings in January 2026 after 12 years with the firm. He now leads 1,600 engineers across 17 offices, overseeing a £170m turnover and complex multi-disciplinary projects in healthcare, commercial, and residential sectors.

Martin Harrison (Tilbury Douglas): Appointed permanent Chief Financial Officer in November 2025 following a four-month interim period. A veteran leader with experience at Tarmac and Vistry, he is focused on driving sustainable profitable growth, M&A, and commercial clarity for the construction firm.

Paul McNerney (Severfield): Appointed Chief Executive Officer in November 2025 following a 26-year career at Laing O’Rourke. A seasoned executive with global experience, he now leads the structural steel specialist, bringing expertise in manufacturing, M&E, and major infrastructure to drive the firm's next phase.

John Cave (EH Smith Group): Promoted to Group CEO in January 2026 after 23 years with the business. A brick and façade specialist with a background in sustainability, he now leads the entire holdings group, including its merchanting, architectural solutions, and manufacturing arms.

Charlie Bater (Black & White Engineering): Promoted to Chief Technical Officer in December 2025. A specialist in data center MEP design, he has risen through the ranks at the global consultancy over nearly eight years, moving from Associate Director to CTO to lead the firm’s technical strategy and engineering excellence.

Mick Collins (TClarke): Promoted to Director of Construction in November 2025. Based in Bristol, he is currently leading TClarke’s delivery for the Agratas battery manufacturing facility. With over 20 years of director-level experience, he specialises in high-tech MEP delivery across data centers, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors

Stuart Togwell (Kier Group): Appointed Group CEO in November 2025, succeeding the retiring Andrew Davies. A 40-year industry veteran and former Group MD, Togwell has kicked off 2026 by restructuring Kier into three core divisions and launching a new "Infrastructure powerhouse" to align with the UK’s 10-year national strategy.

James Birch (Kier Infrastructure): Appointed Managing Director of Transportation within the newly formed "Kier Infrastructure" division in January 2026. A long-term Kier leader, he previously served as MD of Kier Transportation and Highways. In his new role, he oversees the group’s integrated design, build, and maintenance capabilities for roads, rail, and ports, positioning Kier to deliver on the Government’s 10-year Infrastructure Strategy.

Louisa Finlay (Kier Group): Appointed as Kier’s first Chief Operating Officer (COO) in January 2026 while retaining her role as Chief People Officer during a transition period. A 38-year veteran of the firm, her massive new remit includes operational excellence, health and safety, sustainability, and spearheading Kier’s transition into a "naturally digital" business.

Joe Incutti (Kier Infrastructure): Appointed Group Managing Director of the newly formed Kier Infrastructure division in January 2026. A 17-year Kier veteran and qualified accountant, he now oversees a £2bn turnover business with 6,000 employees, consolidating the firm’s design, build, and maintenance expertise across road, rail, aviation, water, and energy sectors.

James Cornish (Forterra PLC): Joined as Group Commercial Director in December 2025, bringing extensive commercial leadership experience from Travis Perkins and the FMCG sector (including GSK and Tesco). He is now responsible for driving value creation, sales strategy, and high-performance team culture for the UK's leading manufacturer of clay and concrete building products.

Tony Luntz (Glanua): Appointed Group Commercial Director in December 2025 following a senior role at Red Sea Global in Saudi Arabia. A 35-year industry veteran with deep roots at Kier and BAM Nuttall, he is now tasked with overseeing commercial strategy for the water and wastewater specialist as it targets €400m in revenue by 2028.

Ely Mencherini (Sice Previt UK): Appointed Managing Director in November 2025. A mechanical engineer and MEP specialist with over 20 years of experience, he previously spent 11 years leading ESA Engineering UK. In his new role, he heads the London subsidiary of the Italian high-end construction group, focusing on luxury retail and residential general contracting.

Andrew Jones (VolkerFitzpatrick): Promoted to Pre-Construction Director (Divisional) in December 2025. A Fellow of the ICE and the PWi with 25 years of experience, he now oversees the early-stage planning and bidding for major civil engineering and infrastructure schemes, including significant logistics developments and rail frameworks such as CP7.

Lisa Waugh (Taylor Wimpey): Appointed Managing Director for the Yorkshire region in November 2025, returning to the business unit where she began her Taylor Wimpey career. Previously the MD for the North West, her background as a Divisional Finance Director and her MBA expertise are key as she takes over the Wakefield-based operations to drive regional housebuilding growth and operational efficiency.

Sara Quaglieni (FHP Group): Appointed Chief Operating Officer in December 2025. A Chartered Engineer with over 20 years of experience at Hoare Lea and Buro Happold, she is a specialist in strategic transformation and compassionate leadership. In her new role at the building services consultancy, she focuses on driving operational excellence and digital transformation while advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).

David Cocksedge (Banyards): Promoted to Managing Director in December 2025. A 30-year veteran of the HVAC and commissioning industry, he has spent over two decades at Banyards, rising from a Commissioning Engineer to Board Director. He now leads the firm's expansion strategy, focusing on prestigious international projects and technical excellence within the Commissioning Specialist Association.

James Duffett (Lovell Partnerships): Promoted to Managing Director South in January 2026 as part of a major regional restructure. Previously the Regional MD for South Wales & West, he now oversees a broader territory including the South West, Southern, and London regions, focusing on scaling mixed-tenure housing developments and landmark partnerships like the 2,500-home Cardiff and Vale collaboration.

Peter Ellis (Triton Construction): Appointed North West Regional Director in January 2026. An experienced Commercial Director and Quantity Surveyor, Ellis joins the firm's leadership team to drive growth and project delivery across the Warrington and Manchester areas. He previously served as Triton's Commercial Manager and held senior roles at Red Sea Global and ISG Retail.

James Sykes (Bermar Building Company): Appointed Operational Director in January 2026. Sykes moves to the Cleckheaton-based firm after a significant 19-year tenure at Triton Construction, where he most recently served as North West Regional Director. His appointment represents a major leadership acquisition for Bermar, bringing nearly two decades of operational and commercial expertise to their executive team.
